Yup. Blink or you’ll miss it.

I’m going to hazard a guess and say that there’s probably at least one more look at the guy, for two reasons. First, Chekhov’s Gun. Once introduced, that bowstring’s got to go twang at some point.

Second, if they don’t at least give us a good look at him, that’s one single shot in a movie of some government setup (admittedly made from the flimsiest of plastics) where there’s a random guy with a bow and arrow and that make absolutely no sense out of a larger comics-aware context. As I remind myself frequently, not everybody has an encyclopedic knowledge of every superhero they’ve ever even casually read about (like in, say a She-Hulk story arc) like I do.

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
