Here’s the Release Date for ‘Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean’ Part 2

Yare yare dawa—it's about time!

The first 12 episodes of the first part of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean released back in 2021, to much acclaim, on Netflix. But then comes the question: When will we get the next part of this exciting, long-anticipated interpretation of arguably one of the best (and confusing) parts of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure? Being that the subtitled and dubbed version of this anime is available to watch on Netflix, it’s easy to assume that most of the release information would be kept there. However, the second batch’s release date was announced externally, so not all fans might be aware of when it’s coming out. But we do, in fact, have some release information for the second batch of episodes.

The synopsis for Part 2 reads, “2011, United States, Florida — When Jolyne Cujoh and her boyfriend get in an accident while out on a drive, she is framed for the crime and sentenced to 15 years in prison. Will she ever be free from this prison — this stone ocean? The final battle in the century-spanning, intertwining fate of the Joestar family and DIO begins!”

The Official Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Part 2 Release Date

Earlier this year, during AnimeJapan 2022, Warner Bros. JP dropped a new trailer in a livestream hosted by two Stone Ocean voice actors. Reportedly, a 10-year anniversary project is also in the works to mark that major milestone for the anime adaptation, meaning fans might be getting a little more than expected with the new part coming out later this year. Since then, it’s been confirmed that Part 2 will arrive on Netflix on September 1, 2022.

Needless to say, fans will love both the trailer and, hopefully, whatever is to come for the series.
