Georgia Woman Went Shopping at Ross. She Ended Up Looking Like a Cabbage Patch Doll: ‘You’re Either a Bratz, a Barbie, or a Cabbage Patch Doll’

Some aesthetics just fit better with some personalities. Savannah (@savsilby) from Georgia told TikTok that she saw a bunch of women dressed like Bratz dolls. Following their inspiration, she hoped that adoping their aesthetics would make her look as glamorous.
“So, when going out, I figured out that girls have one of three archetypes to fit into. You’re either a Bratz, a Barbie, or a Cabbage Patch Doll,” Savannah said. She revealed which type she thinks she falls into.
“I’m a Cabbage Patch doll, unfortunately. And I’ve been fighting it my whole life,” she said in disappointment. Savannah explained that while she was in Greenville and in line at an establishment, she saw a few women.
“They were looking so baddie!” She exclaimed. Savannah was in awe of how the women dressed, with their knee-high leather boots, leather miniskirts, and tube tops. She looked to the window next to her, and she saw her reflection.
“I was wearing a floral quilt jacket, some jeans, and hot pink shoes,” Savannah said, and it made her cringe. That’s when she decided to go to Ross to shop. There are several budget-friendly options in the store that would help her attain the baddie look she saw on those women.
The next day, Savannah went to the store, and she found an outfit she thought would give the same effect. Upon checking the mirror, she had a grim realization.
“It just looks like a Cabbage Patch doll wearing some skimpy clothes. I can’t pull it off,” she said, admitting defeat. She came to the conclusion that she must be a Cabbage Patch doll and not a Bratz doll archetype.
There is a Cabbage Patch to Bratz doll spectrum
Savannah circled back to her initial theory—that women either fall under the Cabbage Patch doll archetype, Barbie, or Bratz. One end of the spectrum is a Cabbage Patch doll, while the other end is a Bratz. Meanwhile, Barbie archetypes fall straight into the center.
But how does all of this work? Can’t everyone just wear the styles of someone on the opposite end of the spectrum?
Savannah said that a Barbie can fit into both styles and make it work, but the same isn’t true for Cabbage Patch and Bratz girls.
“A Bratz can’t wear Cabbage Patch, and a Cabbage Patch definitely cannot wear Bratz clothes,” she concluded. After seeing herself as the test subject of her fashion theory, this was what Savannah came up with. But she isn’t too disappointed about her findings.
“I’m slowly learning to embrace it at my ripe old age of 28, but that’s my story and I’m sticking to it,” she said. Other social media users commented on Savannah’s video, joking about their own doll archetype.
One commenter wrote, “I’m an American girl doll. I have trauma, a special interest and a pet.” More people were expanding Savannah’s limited spectrum.
Someone else said, “Personally I think I’m a Polly Pocket.” There’s no other explanation to this theory, but short girls need representation too.
Another person joked, “I’m an Adam Sandler figurine.” Perhaps the scale needs to be more inclusive to GI Joe figures as well.
But another woman commented, “Im more of the Monster High- Morticia, Elvira.” Because even goth girls also need to feel seen and heard in this spectrum. Although Savannah has made light of the situation, people should feel comfortable to wear whatever it is they want to.
