Florida woman records a glitching parking lot with two weird Santas and a man with a dead seagull: ‘I don’t go to Walmart and there’s a solid reason’

Only in Florida, y’all.

Florida woman sees the most bizarre things happening at Walmart parking lot.

If you needed more proof that Walmart exists in a parallel dimension, here it is. This TikTok story proves that the laws of physics and social norms are merely suggestions at a Walmart parking lot.

Creator Amy West (@amywesttravel) on TikTok shared her recent trip to a Florida Walmart, where she couldn’t believe her eyes. And you wouldn’t either. But good thing, she has it on record.

Sitting the parking lot, Amy recounted the recent events there that were so bizarre that it beats a fever dream. Her story serves as a hilarious warning against crossing that blue-and-yellow threshold. Because one you do, you are in a space where the “time and space continuum just ceases to exist.”

Amy saw a ‘glitch in the matrix’ involving two ignoring Santas

The weirdness began before Amy even stepped foot inside the store. As she parked, she saw a man in full Santa attire walking by. He was wearing all that red cap, red sneakers, white beard, the “whole shebang.”

Thinking the holiday season was simply starting early, she walked toward the entrance, only to pass a second Santa Claus. But what Amy found weird was how the two Santas passed each other without a single nod or acknowledgment. They were almost acting as if they didn’t exist in the same universe.

As Amy left the store, the scene shifted from holiday confusion to a traumatizing bird encounter. She noticed a man kneeling in the middle of the road. Initially, Amy assumed he was just crouching down to eat french fries or chicken nuggets. Which is weird in itself.

However, after finishing his snack and leaving the box in the road, the man commenced a “moment.” He picked up a dead seagull that had apparently been hit by a car and began crying.

The man created a makeshift funeral in the mulch near the parking lot

What followed was a scene Amy described as something that “doesn’t happen anywhere else but Walmart.” After finishing his mourning over the deceased bird, he picked it up and carried it to a nearby mulched area. Apparently, he then began to perform what appeared to be a makeshift funeral and burial.

Amy managed to capture footage of the man, dressed in a neon green shirt. He is seen cradling the bird in his arms as he prepared for the final goodbye. While the man’s gesture was born from a place of compassion, parking lot burials aren’t exactly standard protocol.

In many municipalities, dead animals on public or commercial property are considered biological waste. So, they should be reported to sanitation or animal control. However, in the “Walmart universe,” the urge to provide a dignified end for a fallen seagull often overrides local ordinances.

How to navigate a bizarre parking lot encounter safely

When you find yourself in a “glitch in the matrix” situation like Amy’s, always move safely. If someone is having an emotional “moment” with an animal or acting erratically, give them space. Maintain your distance at all times.

As Amy did, getting a quick clip can also help you process the “re-evaluation of life” later. However, prioritize your safety over the footage. If you must help an animal, never crouch in an active driving lane, as other drivers may not see you.

If an animal is suffering or poses a health risk, contact the store manager or local animal service. It’s better to report such situations rather than attempting a DIY burial.
