Space Shuttle Endeavour successfully landed at LAX earlier today after its lengthy career in space. Endeavour will be on display at the California Science Center from now on, rather than traversing the unknown universe. The Space Shuttle didn’t fly on its own to California, of course, it had to be strapped onto the top of a modified 747 jetliner, then flown across the country from Florida to California. The above time-lapse video shows exactly how a space shuttle is attached to a plane, and you should probably watch it, because it’s a video of a space shuttle being attached to the top of a plane.
