Donald Trump’s rejection of UK support in war with Iran gets a blistering reaction from Adam Kinzinger

If you have been keeping up with developments surrounding Donald Trump and the increasing dissatisfaction with his presidency during his second term, you would know that one of the people who has consistently spoken out against him is former Republican Representative Adam Kinzinger. If you browse his social media, especially his X (formerly Twitter) account, you will find numerous posts and videos criticising Trump.
Recently, Adam Kinzinger has been making pointed remarks about Donald Trump’s handling of the Iran “situation.” On February 28, 2026, the US, under Trump’s orders, allied with Israel and launched joint attacks on Iran. The action received significant criticism from Americans, including those in positions of power, regardless of their political views. One of the many people who condemned Trump’s activities in Iran was also Adam Kinzinger, who, since the first hints of the attacks, has made several posts expressing his opinion. Recently, he again discussed the US/Israel-Iran conflict in the context of the UK, and accused Donald Trump of behaving like a child by refusing their help in the conflict, possibly implying his foolishness in rejecting aid from a longstanding alliance.
Adam Kinzinger is not holding back in his criticism of Trump
Adam Kinzinger is one of Donald Trump’s most vocal critics. Therefore, when he speaks about him, you can be sure that he will not hold back. As previously mentioned, in the wake of the US’s attacks on Iran, Kinzinger has made several comments about Donald Trump through social media. One such post that he made on his X account on March 8, 2026, is currently going viral.
In the post, Adam Kinzinger, while sharing a screenshot of Trump’s Truth Social post, where he refuses to accept help from the UK in its fight with Iran, wrote, “What a thin skinned tiny little baby and an absolutely unqualified disgraceful ass canoe. Trump will be forever seen as a low point for America.” Kinzinger’s post has prompted many to comment, mostly sharing opinions similar to his. However, as expected, some are also criticising him and expressing strong support for Donald Trump.
What did Donald Trump actually say about the UK?
Initially, the United Kingdom wasn’t very eager to involve itself in the United States’ conflict with Iran, but recently it changed its stance and decided to offer assistance to the country. It was reported that the UK had proposed sending two aircraft carriers to the Middle East to support the US. However, as this information surfaced, Donald Trump, posting on his Truth Social account on March 7, 2026, rejected the UK’s offer of help.
In his post, he wrote, “The United Kingdom, our once Great Ally, maybe the Greatest of them all, is finally giving serious thought to sending two aircraft carriers to the Middle East. That’s OK, Prime Minister Starmer, we don’t need them any longer – But we will remember. We don’t need people that join Wars after we’ve already won!” Hmmm. Last I checked, the war was still ongoing.
