Hello Sweetie

What’s in a name?

Yesterday we showed you three new posters (as well as 10 & 11 in costume together) for upcoming episodes of Doctor Who. We’ve got a fourth today, which just also happens to be the Season 7 finale. As you can see, the episode is titled “The Name of the Doctor.”

“There’s going to be a revelation. I’m not teasing. I’m not wrong-footing you – you’re about to learn something about the Doctor that you never knew before. And I think you’re in for a shock,” wrote Steven Moffat for Radio Times.

Whether it will actually be the Doctor’s Gallifreyan name remains to be seen but it seems we’ll at least find out something new about our old time traveling friend.

The poster also reveals actress Alex Kingston’s return as River Song. Could we be coming to the end of her story arc? We know from a story  told in “Forest of the Dead,” the Doctor revealed his name to her in what wound up being the last time he would see her in his timeline. Thoughts?
