A woman is sharing her superb experience booking a stay with the Candy Cane Inn for the third time. The Disneyland adjacent hotel, located in Anaheim, California, seemed to capture her heart again due to the excellent customer service provided by a manager named Mark, who offered her a discount that even shocked him.
“ I just got off the phone with Mark—Mark from the Candy Cane Inn,” TikToker Steph_anie (@_palooza19) said. That’s when she explained that after a call with the manager, she ended up with an amazing deal, which was $200+ cheaper than other hotels in the area.
The creator shared that after letting the manager know about her previous stays at the hotel, he booked her in a premium room with multiple discounts. She urged anyone considering a trip to California’s Disneyland to consider staying at the Candy Cane Inn, considering her experience, adding that, “ they are amazing,” in her video with over 836,000 views.
What is the Candy Cane Inn?
The Candy Cane Inn is a historic, Disney-adjacent property that’s highly regarded. The hotel is a “Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel,” which means that it has direct amenities that support Disney travelers. For instance, the hotel has a trolley that goes directly to Disney.
It also offers its clients free breakfast, complimentary parking, and assistance with navigating Disney trips on-site.
“ Everybody is friendly. The whole hotel is clean, it is walking distance [from Disney],” Steph_anie said. “Absolutely love it. As much as I don’t wanna tell anybody about it, I highly recommend it because everybody is super, super sweet. Love it, highly recommend.”
What discounts did she receive?
When she called the Candy Cane Inn, she didn’t expect any special treatment, especially for her previous stays.
But, while booking the room over the phone, she emphasized how much she loved the property for her family, who were planning a stay there for 13 days. Mark seemed surprised at the length of her stay, as it was one of the longest bookings he had ever made.
After chatting on the phone with Mark and letting him know how much she appreciated her stay there, he ended up offering her a premium room with a discount.
“So he goes, ‘let me just put you on a quick hold,’” she recalled. “So he puts me on hold. And then he takes me off hold and he goes, ‘You know what? Because you’re a loyal customer of ours, we’re gonna give you a discount.’”
In total, she ended up getting three different discounts: a family military discount, a returning customer discount, and a discount on their premium room.
