You think you’ve got a serious coffee addiction? The Finns might consider you a lightweight: The average person in Finland consumes 12 kilograms, or 26.5 pounds, of coffee each year. And no, that’s not including water weight: That’s the weight of the beans it takes to brew their joe.

The average coffee consumption in the U.S. is 4.2 kilograms per person, or 9.3 pounds; the worldwide average is 1.3 kilos per person (2.9 pounds).
