“Chris Evans” Reacts to First Captain America: Civil War Viewing

Something about this video is amiss, but I can't quite put my finger on it ...

In order to keep that hype train a-rollin’, the Russo Brothers recently posted a video on Facebook featuring Chris Evans and his fresh reaction to watching the final edit of Captain America: Civil War. I couldn’t help but notice more than a few things with the video, though. First of all: huh, Evans totally would watch Civil War while holding his Captain America shield, wouldn’t he? He totally would. Second: of course he’d also wear the Captain America mask from his costume. He’s like a little kid watching his favorite movie for the first time, how cute.

Evans joins fellow cinnamon roll Sebastian Stan in revealing his initial reactions to the movie, which should get you pretty excited to see it when it releases in early May. He wasn’t exactly “in pain” like Stan was, but I think that’s just fine. How about his answer to that question regarding “the best part” of Civil War? Paul Rudd? I think it’s super awesome when stars support each other, it’s just really cool.

Oh, so, did anyone else think that maybe Evans sounded a bit … different, there? Y’know what’s funny, he sounded a hell of a lot like Paul Rudd right ther—… oh. Oh.
