Here’s the Bob’s Burgers Cast Improvising an Episode About “The Talk”

The characters of Bob’s Burgers are all hilarious in their own distinct ways, in no small way due to the amazing casting. The crew’s comedic talent is especially clear in this sit-down with Vulture, where voice actors H. Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Kristen Schaal, and Larry Murphy improvise a Bob’s Burgers episode where the kids receive “the talk.” The birds and the bees. How children are made. You know, the thing that’s a central plotline in one episode of every family sitcom ever?

Naturally, Linda has some songs prepared and Teddy tries to help with some visual aids. Other great moments include Louise insisting that FBI stands for “Finger Blasting Incorporation” (can we make that a t-shirt?) and “You’re thinking of the movie E.T.” It’s cool though, cause Tina has “butts and vaginas and stuff” all covered.

Excuse me while I quietly hum, “I’ve got a yum-yum/You’ve got a penis/Women are from Mars/Men are from Venus” to myself for the rest of the day.
