What do we know about Jason Wilkes, a new character on Agent Carter to be played by Reggie Austin? Not much, except that he’s “a charismatic scientist that manages to catch Agent Carter’s attention” (according to the season’s synopsis, anyway). In this all-too-brief sneak peek at the first episode of season two, slated to air next week, Peggy sneaks into the Isodyne Energy offices and bumps right into Jason Wilkes. He then asks her an inexplicable question: “Would you like to be thunderstruck?”
Wha … what??? I’m sure he isn’t referring to the AC/DC song, since that came out several decades later, but it’s definitely the first thing that came to mind for me.
I have a whole lot of other questions — such as, why is Agent Souza also there, why didn’t they just get a search warrant, and also where do I get a belt like Peggy’s? We already learned yesterday that Isodyne Energy is controlled in part by this season’s new villainess, Madam Masque. But all of the rest will have to wait until next week when the season premiere finally airs.
