Trump Speaks About Previously Blowing Up Lindsey Graham’s Phone, Reveals His Phone Number in Front of Hundreds of People

There were several awkward moments during Lindsey Graham’s funeral on July 28, 2026. A significant number of these moments have circulated on social media, where they have become a topic of much discussion.

Donald Trump delivered Graham’s eulogy, talking about their early days and how their relationship evolved over time. However, it’s not what Trump says about his changing relationship with Graham that has grabbed people’s attention, but rather the information he bluntly revealed during his speech:

“Lindsey and I did not exactly get off to the best of starts. Running against each other back in 2016 Lindsey said something rather nasty on his flight to becoming the next president of the United States. So naturally I did something I shouldn’t have done, I shared his personal cellphone number with the millions of people that happened to be watching that particular day as I made a speech – a very important speech – I remember the number 202-228-0292 if anyone wants to give him a shout.”

Trump says the incident marked the start of a long-standing friendship between them, but says Graham had the last laugh because he did “not stop calling me for the next ten years.”

Trump’s remarks about Graham during his funeral, which have been uploaded by an X account called Call To Activism, have sparked many people to discuss the event in the comments section. One person joked that it was likely Graham hadn’t changed his number after Trump revealed it to people back in 2016. They wrote, “If Trump doxxed Lidsay Graham back in 2016, and “his phone exploded”, I highly doubt that he wouldn’t have changed his number.” Another person alleged that Trump made a speech about Graham about himself. They write, strongly, “Trump always has to make it all about himself. His narcissistic appetite can never be satiated.”

Another video gaining significant traction on X also concerns Donald Trump’s eulogy for Lindsey Graham. In a particularly fascinating moment from his speech, Trump, while reading from a piece of paper, says that Graham was liked by everybody regardless of whether they were Democrat or Republican. Shortly after saying this, Trump pauses briefly and remarks, “not everybody.”
