Georgia Woman Gets Fired for Talking About Her Raise. Then She Finds Out It Was Her Own Friend in HR: ‘Got All the Evidence’

Office politics can really bring out the worst in people, it can turn friends into enemies and things can get messy fast. One IT manager in Georgia witnessed her office practically turn into an episode of Game of Thrones with all the backstabbing and betrayal happening between colleagues. Now she’s shared the tea with her followers on TikTok.
TikToker Tiffany explained to her viewers that she was the IT manager at her workplace. As such, she is often the first to know if somebody is about to lose their job before the person is actually informed themself. She claims that one employee was due to be fired but that it was “highly confidential.”
Eventually it was revealed to Tiffany that the person being fired was, in Tiffany’s words, “a really sweet girl,” what’s more she’d just got promoted too. So why had management suddenly decided her time had come despite her seemingly doing nothing wrong? Tiffany decided she wasn’t going to just let the woman be fired without warning her first, and that’s when the truth came out.
It turned out that the HR lady, who was friends with the woman being fired, had something to do with it all in a twist that nobody saw coming.
A backstab from a supposed friend
Tiffany revealed that the same HR lady that had told her about the confidential firing in the first place was responsible for everything. The woman about to lose her job had been close friends with the HR lady, and when she received her promotion the two had gone out for a celebratory meal. It was there that she spoke about her raise with her “friend.”
The HR lady then allegedly went to her and Tiffany’s boss to tell them that the woman had spoken about her salary, something which she wasn’t allowed to do. While it’s unclear if this was the whole reason for the woman being fired, it seems like the HR lady certainly has it out for her, and her dismissal seems unfair to say the least. Tiffany explain that “corporate America is nothing to play with,” stating “I’ve seen people do some conniving, evil things thinking that it’s going to benefit their position.”
She claims she only told her colleague so that she would have time to prepare evidence for her defense before being blindsided by management. It seems her plan worked as Tiffany, who has since become friends with the unnamed woman over the matter, explains that her new friend plans to walk into the office with “all the evidence” and a list of demands.
Plenty were invested in Tiffany’s office story and in an update video she revealed that the woman did get fired for not “being the right fit” but she plans to sue the company. While others pointed out that she could have put herself at risk by sharing the story online, “Friend you about to be fired….” wrote one person. The final twist in the tale was that Tiffany was indeed fired after her boss found the TikTok video.
