LA woman goes to get her bloodwork done, then proceeds to unzip her sweatshirt to expose her arm, only to realize her front was exposed: ‘DEAD lol’

We’ve all had our fair share of embarrassing moments in front of strangers. I don’t know about anyone else, but when something like this happens, my first thought is that it would be awesome if I had the power of invisibility and could just disappear.
TikTok user @madellinefreeman from Los Angeles uploaded a video to her account two days ago, sharing a similar experience. Long story short, she went to get her bloodwork done, and as she tried to decide which arm to have the needles in, she unzipped her sweatshirt only to find her worst nightmare come true. Her breast was out, and there was nothing she could have done to stop the medical practitioner from seeing it.
TikTok user @madellinefreeman had to face an embarrassing situation
TikTok user @madellinefreeman has a public announcement for everyone: “Do not ever go and get your blood work done in a tube top,” and she speaks from experience. In a video she uploaded to her TikTok account two days ago, Madelline mentioned that the day before she filmed, she woke up early to get her blood work done.
Elaborating on her experience, @madellinefreeman said that at the location, she had to go to the back and give the medical practitioner her work order, as was the protocol. Stepping aside from the story for a moment, Madelline mentioned that she often gets blood work done (about once every two weeks) because she has a lot of scar tissue in her veins. Returning to the story, Madelline explained that the practitioner then asked which arm she wanted the needle to be inserted into for the blood test. She recalled hesitating for a moment because she had plans that involved her hands the next day, and if the needle hurt too much, it could make it hard to perform those tasks. To avoid getting the wrong arm pricked, she told the practitioner to wait while she decided which arm to use. She was wearing a sweatshirt with a tube top underneath. When she pulled down the zipper of her sweatshirt to expose her hand, to her horror, her entire breast was exposed. Of course, Madelline was embarrassed, but the practitioner laughed it off and assured her that such things are common. However, Madelline mentions in the video that she doubts the practitioner was being truthful about these incidents being so frequent, and she suspects the practitioner probably went home and told everyone about what happened, and they all had a good laugh over it.

TikTok user @madellinefreeman’s video, where she talks about accidentally exposing her breast in front of a medical professional while getting blood drawn, has gained significant attention on the platform. User @crimsoneagle46 wrote, “I get bloodwork often and occasionally get someone who does it and causes a huge bruise or pain in my arm after. They really need to invent a robot or something that does it perfectly every time.” User @isobelwrenbooks said, “Hey at least it was an accident! I’m a phlebotomist and I’ve had men take off their entire shirt for no reason.”
Research suggests people avoid getting blood tests due to various reasons
The survey questioned over 600 US citizens about their feelings toward blood tests. It revealed that 78% of respondents feel some level of anxiety when getting blood drawn, with 57.6% describing that anxiety as moderate or severe. Additionally, 37% reported a fear of needles.
The same study indicated that the main reason most blood tests are canceled is the inconvenience of reaching the required site, with 69% of respondents unwilling to travel more than 10 miles to complete the procedure.
