Celebrity Stylist Law Roach Under Fire After Complaining About His Los Angeles to New York Delta Flight

Law Roach receives backlash for complaining about Delta Airlines flight

Celebrity stylist Law Roach complained on X about an issue with his Delta Airlines seat. The post annoyed many social media users, who thought Roach was fussing over a champagne problem.

Roach wrote, “I’m Delta 360 and a Million Miler. This morning I paid for a Delta One seat from NYC to LA and when I got on the plane it was not a lay flat seat. I was very disappointed.” The celebrity stylist tagged the airlines in hopes that his issue would be swiftly addressed.

A Delta 360° is an annual invitation-only membership reserved for the airline’s highest-spending customers. The membership comes with a direct phone line for assistance, a Sky Club membership, possibility of private transfers with a Porsche, custom luggage tags, and more. Needless to say, the perks are extravagant but earned by VIPs who are loyal to the airline.

One million miles alone is already a difficult feat for most people with a nine-to-five. Most people never achieve this status in their lifetimes, and those who have a Delta 360° are even more elusive. Roach posting about having the exclusive membership struck a nerve with many people online. A majority of them would already be satisfied with additional legroom.

One social media post reads, “these the kind of problems God finna bless me with.”

Several made fun of Roach, bringing up the memes of Kim Kardashian losing her diamond earring in the ocean. Some of them even brought up Kourtney Kardashian’s iconic line, “Kim, there’s people that are dying.”

Roach not ‘acting’ entitled

But for all of social media’s outrage, Roach merely raised a concern as a consumer. He’s not acting entitled. Rather, he is entitled to these privileges afforded to him by the airline, even if he’s complaining about a relatively short flight. Moreover, he paid an additional fee just to get a lay-flat seat. Anyone who has ever paid for extra services but failed to receive them would ask to be refunded or find a way to resolve the mishap. It may have come in the form of a wrong food item or a missing Amazon package—either way, people can dispute it, and they shouldn’t be faulted for doing so.

Roach’s case is on a different price bracket, but the concern stands all the same. It would have been better to resolve the issue in private. Regardless, the tweet has been blown out of proportion.

Extending the olive branch

The celebrity stylist would later announce that the issue has been resolved with Delta. He wrote a follow-up tweet on X, “Thank you for your continued amazing customer service. This is why I stay so loyal. Now, while I have you: can we talk about me redesigning the flight attendant uniforms?”

It’s a shocking offer from Roach. But it goes to show that good customer service comes with great rewards that are oftentimes unforeseen. That being said, it would be the ultimate flex to wear a uniform designed by Law Roach.

Is it possible for the unexpected collaboration to push through? Delta Airlines announced in late 2025 that they would be retiring crew uniforms and launching new ones in celebration of their centennial year. The new fits will enter testing in the summer of 2026 and will be worn by crew members sometime in 2027. Given all this, the hopes of having Roach-designed Delta uniforms may not be in the stars anytime soon.
