Caitlyn Jenner Cries To Trump About Inability To Travel After Passport Gender Changed To ‘M’

Caitlyn Jenner has complained about an unexpected travel restriction related to her status as a transgender woman. Trump’s White House executive order has been followed by the Department of State. Because of this, passports can now only reflect people’s biological gender at birth.
“I sent it back, comes back, gender marker M. Screws everything up,” Jenner said about her new passport in an interview with Tomi Lahren at Fox News.
She continued, “There’s a form in there. If they made a mistake, you can correct it. So I fill out all the proper forms… I’m gonna see if I can fix this myself, because it’s not just about me, it’s about all people in this situation.” Jenner claimed that she initially did not seek the president’s help on the matter. She also sent a copy of her birth certificate to prove that her passport should not reflect as ‘M,’ but as ‘F.’
“They didn’t change it at all… What do I do?” Jenner lamented. “This is a safety factor. I can’t travel internationally anymore.” Despite this, the ex-athlete remains faithful in her admiration of Trump.
“I don’t blame President Trump. I love him, but for a lot of people, this is a huge issue.” Jenner said that she also wrote a letter to Trump while she was at Mar-a-Lago. She says she hasn’t heard from the president yet because he’s busy.
The leopards came for Caitlyn Jenner’s face
And yet, Jenner supported Trump’s rise—even when his presidential campaign was targeted at the trans community. To this, social media had no sympathy for Caitlyn Jenner.
Political commentator Hasan Piker wrote, “i didnt think the leopards would eat MY face!”
But another skeptical social media poster said, “Yes this is a humiliating level of stupidity and narcissism in itself but I also wouldn’t doubt that her letter to Trump was asking solely for a special exception just for herself.”
Just a year ago, during the presidential campaign, Jenner bandwagoned behind Trump. She believes that a Trump re-election can bring “world peace.” As a former athlete, she supported the Trump administration’s ban against transgender women in sports. The statement undeniably receives far more credibility, since Jenner is an Olympian gold medalist. Never mind that introducing a blanket ban is simplistic at best.
But as Caitlyn Jenner rails against trans women in sports, she unironically participated in women’s golf at the ANA Inspiration Pro-Am in 2016 and won a gold medal because of it. It’s fair criticism to say that ideas can shift over time—this occurred a decade ago. But as a transgender woman herself, she followed the Trump campaign closely and supported it. She understood that minority groups—including transgender people—are blamed by the Trump administration for a slew of issues in the country.
So why act surprised when Trump released an executive order that could disproportionately affect transgender people? Activists and media outlets didn’t have to do much warning—Trump himself takes no issue with mocking trans people. And yet, even with the warnings, some trans people like Jenner decided to throw in support for Trump.
Actions have consequences, and hers would be too easy to celebrate—but that’s not the important thing to do. The issue of trans people unable to travel outside of the country is now a reality. And unfortunately for them, they won’t have any presidential connections for exemption.
