North Carolina woman goes to 7 Brew. Then she makes the worker cry. Now customers are angry

A woman in Shallotte, North Carolina, apparently made a 7 Brew worker cry. Now the internet’s upset, with some viewers wondering what exactly happened and what she said to the employee.
Kevin (@OhitsKevin), a TikToker who posts a wide amount of 7 Brew-related content, called out a woman who apparently yelled at a 7 Brew worker in Shalotte, North Carolina. The TikToker shared his experience in a video with over 41,000 views, adding that he would “find” the woman who made the worker cry.
Viewers added that they wanted to learn more about the situation. While Kevin didn’t describe what happened in his video or any subsequent updates, many viewers were invested in the story and wanted an update.
What is 7 Brew?
7 Brew is a drive-thru coffee chain that first opened in Rogers, Arkansas, in 2017. In 2021, the company franchised. The company has over 500 locations as of 2026 and is located all across the U.S.
It’s a popular destination for caffeine fixes. They have monthly specials, specially crafted energy drinks, chai drinks, matchas, lemonades and smoothies, all in notably large sizes. 7 Brew’s energy drinks are also sugary and pack a huge punch, along with their coffees. For those that can handle the sweetness, though, it’s become a popular destination within local communities for sweet treats and quick fixes.
What has he said about the situation?
Kevin has only made one video about the worker, where he said that the woman in line was late for work and that she took it out on the employee.
Kevin said, “ To the lady who went to 7 Brew in Shallotte, North Carolina, this morning that decided to make the worker at 7 Brew Cry ’cause you were rude and late for work. [expletive] I’m gonna find you.”
In his description, he added, “If you have to rush someone else to do their job because your [expletive] is too slow to get to yours on time. It’s a personal issue. I don’t like bullies. You’ll see.”
While he mentioned finding the woman, he hasn’t necessarily shared any investigations with his audience. He did, however, say that he would post a part two explaining the situation with more depth later on.

What could the average person find out?
Commenters weren’t able to deduce much from Kevin’s video alone, but sleuths could find out at least a little information about the situation if they wanted to.
For one, there’s only one 7 Brew in Shalotte, North Carolina, which is located on 4530 Main St. There’s also a good chance that the situation itself happened either on March 16 or 17.
While Kevin didn’t add much additional detail, many Shallotte natives were familiar with the spot and pointed out that their for you pages were becoming a bit too local. Others, however, said they saw similar content on Facebook. One TikToker said, “I saw a post about something on Facebook I think about this as well.”
The Facebook page 7 Brew fans contains no mention of the interaction between the customer and the employee. Public posts about Shallotte, North Carolina, also don’t seem to mention anything about this specific interaction. So, its unclear what post the commenter is referring to.
The Mary Sue reached out to 7 Brew and Kevin via email for more information.
