‘The cover-up is crumbling.’: Rep. Becca Balint debunks Trump’s claims of having kicked Epstein out of Mar-a-lago

Over the past couple of months, there has been considerable discussion surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein case, specifically in light of the periodic revelation of information in the matter. One of the individuals who has repeatedly emerged as a person of interest in relation to the investigation has been United States President Donald Trump, who was once believed to have been best friends with the disgraced financier and sex offender.

Considering the documents the United States Department of Justice released on January 30, 2026, and before them, Donald Trump’s name has appeared thousands of times. Some sources cite the number to be more than 38 thousand.

In some cases, Trump’s name has been mentioned in the Jeffrey Epstein documents in a casual way, where people are simply discussing him with others. However, there are also instances where his name appears in much more serious contexts. For instance, one email communication released by the DOJ during the Jeffrey Epstein investigations implies that Trump had spent hours with one of Epstein’s victims. While the specifics of their meeting are not known, it is clear that Trump was aware of Epstein’s shenanigans and still chose to remain silent. This has indeed surprised many, as Trump has on multiple occasions denied his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, despite many people who knew them saying otherwise. Additionally, he has repeatedly claimed that he kicked Jeffrey out of Mar-a-lago when he learned about his misdeeds. However, based on the information reviewed by Congress on Monday, this has also been found to be untrue.

A video is going viral on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter), featuring United States Representative Becca Balint discussing with a reporter what she saw in the unredacted files made available to them by the Department of Justice. In the clip, as the reporter asked Balint about the unredacted files, she remarked, “There’s a bunch of sick fucks.” She also stated that the part that was particularly “disgusting” for her was that so many people were aware of what Jeffrey Epstein was doing and still chose to remain quiet. She revealed that she was only able to view a small fraction of the documents, and the part she was focused on was whether Trump had indeed thrown Epstein out of Mar-a-lago. When asked if that was true, Balint said, “That is not true. It’s a lie.”

Becca Balint’s claims about Trump divide the internet

After examining the unredacted Epstein Files, Becca Balint is claiming that she has discovered that Trump never threw Epstein out of Mar-a-lago as he claimed. However, not everyone is convinced, particularly the MAGA people. The comments section of Balint’s video, shared by the page Red Panda Koala, is filled with these individuals who are eager to defend their orange overlord. To them, Trump can never do any wrong.

That said, another section of the people believe Balint’s words, with some even stating that they never thought that Trump would be speaking the truth in this matter, making the revelation less of a surprise and more of a confirmation of their beliefs.
