Every now and then, something completely random takes over everyone’s For You Page. We’ve seen it happen with Stanley Cups, Squishmallows, Labubus, and more.

People especially love cute little versions of everyday things, and TikTok never misses a chance to latch onto the next small-but-perfect object. This time, the hype fell on a set of Home Depot mini tool keychains that look like they popped out of a dollhouse construction site.

People Are Going Crazy for Home Depot Mini Tool Keychains

TikTok creator and Home Depot worker Erik (@bluewhre06) helped kick off the trend after posting a video that pulled in over 2.9 million views.

In it, they and another employee show off tiny RYOBI tool keychains now sitting on store shelves.

They start with a lawn mower, then a battery, then a leaf blower. When they move the camera to the display, the full lineup comes into view: a drill, a battery, a mower, a stick vac, a sander, and a recip saw.

Each one costs $4.97, and they look exactly like mini replicas of their full-size counterparts. You can purchase these online as a set for $19.97 or at some Home Depot stores.

“WE GOT NEW LIMITED MINI TOOL KEYCHAINS!” they wrote in the caption.

Commenters Can’t Get Enough of Them

People immediately flooded the comments with jokes, excitement, and a little self-awareness about how quickly everyone falls for anything small and vaguely cute.

“Our generation’s infatuation with trinkets needs to be studied,” one person wrote.

Another viewer took things in a different direction: “Need the lawnmower so I can pretend to mow my bush.”

Someone else chimed in with pure practicality. “The only tools I will afford for a gift.”

And then came the observation almost everyone agreed with: “I love how easily influenced our generation is with mini things.”

Still, not all the comments focused on the keychains. A few users resurfaced a long-running accusation involving the company.

“Home Depot is funding ICE don’t forget,” one person wrote. The claim pops up often online, especially during these moments of heightened attention on U.S. deportation policies. The company has repeatedly denied any involvement or financial connection to the agency.

Other Creators Are Picking Them up Too

Erik isn’t the only one showing off the display. Several creators have posted their own videos showcasing the keychains, with each clip picking up hundreds of thousands of views.

“Those are soooo adorable… those are great for gift idea or to decorate a gift bag or gift box. Cute video,” one commenter wrote on a separate video.

“They’ll last longer than the real thing that’s for sure,” someone joked under another creator’s video.

A third viewer added: “My Barbie should have had these.”
