‘This is the happiest widow I’ve ever seen’: Erika Kirk is all smiles while JD Vance swears Sergio Gor in

Erika Kirk’s actions in the weeks following her husband Charlie Kirk’s assassination have been quite disturbing, to say the least.

Recently, she has made multiple public appearances where she was visibly emotional about her husband’s passing. Yet, she has also been spotted just as often, if not more, laughing and enjoying herself, which has led many to think she has moved on from her husband’s death too fast.

Erika Kirk’s demeanour at a recent White House event is once again causing people to raise their eyebrows. On Monday, Vice President JD Vance swore in Sergio Gor as the United States Ambassador to India. Among those in attendance, besides Vance and United States President Donald Trump, was Erika, who was all smiles during Gor’s swearing-in ceremony. She even shed a tear or two during the formalities. As videos from the event began to circulate on social media, many noticed Erika’s behaviour, emphasising how happy she seemed to be there. One user on X commented:

“This is the happiest widow I’ve ever seen.”

Another person remarked:

“A fake tear at the end. That course from the “Kyle Rittenhouse School of Crocodile Tears” really seems to be paying off. Oh, and she’s watching JD’s if he’s her boyfriend, or her new lover.”

For those curious about the latter remark, recently, Erika Kirk and JD Vance generated quite a buzz online due to an awkward interaction. The incident occurred during a Turning Point event at the University of Mississippi, where Erika expressed that no one could replace her husband except for Vance. While her intention might have been to phrase that differently, many people found humour in her selection of words. What made things even worse was that, later, when Vance took the stage, Erika gave him an uncomfortable hug, during which she affectionately stroked his hair, all while thousands of audience members cheered.
