Fear Factor Is Coming Back to Gross You out Because We Don’t Get Enough of That With the Daily News Cycle Already

I have a lot of feelings, okay?

In “Why Is This Happening?” news, MTV has decided to bring back Fear Factor. For those who don’t remember, it’s that show where they make contests do crazy things like sit in a bed of scorpions or eat raw donkey genitals because fear. It’s a mindgame, and you have to overcome it … or something like that. I don’t know about you but if Joe Rogan was shouting at me that I can finish the challenge as thousands of insects cover almost every inch of my body, I’d tell him to shove of. That is not comforting at all.

Perhaps if it was Ludacris then … nope. Still not comforting. Even so, Ludacris will still step in for Rogan as host. I’m hoping instead of yelling, he just spits a few freestyle bars because, while not soothing, it’s infinitely cooler. Plus, like the original, contestants are competing for $50,000 and “bragging rights.” Don’t think I’d be bragging about being on this show but okay.

12 hour-long episodes are set to premiere on May 30. Will you watch?
