I mean, sure Idris Elba is starring in basically everything that is geeky and awesome, like the upcoming Star Trek Beyond, The Dark Tower, and Thor: Ragnarok, but this photo shoot he did with Interview Magazine is just pure, unadulterated eye candy that I am unashamedly linking to here for your enjoyment.   • Kung Fu Panda 2 director Jennifer Yuh Nelson will be making her live-action feature film debut for Fox with with an adaptation of YA hit The Darkest Minds, the first book in a trilogy by Alexandra Bracken. (via Women and Hollywood)
  • Hamilton‘s original Angelica Schuyler, Renee Elise Goldsberry, will be entering the realm of sci-fi when her time on Broadway is up in a Netflix series called Altered Carbon, in which she plays “Quellcrist Falconer, a leader of the revolution against the established order known as the United Nations Protectorate, which now controls a number of inhabited planets.” (via Shadow and Act)
