Rogue One Meets The Force Awakens in Star Wars Celebration Key Art

Recommended Videos

It’s con season, and you know what that means: Star Wars Celebration is coming up real soon. But! Before we get our own here stateside in July, the UK is having their own in London. At this early Celebration, some brand new Star Wars art has been unveiled, shedding some more light on some of the brand new things we saw in that killer Rogue One trailer. You can see the full art above, and the hi-res version is over at /Film. The art integrates elements from both Rogue One and The Force Awakens. Also, it has Rey in full badass mode with her lightsaber just above Jyn Erso and Finn right by her side.

Simply put: the art is just gorgeous. The placement of Ben Mendelsohn’s character, the use of the angularity of his cape, and the trails behind the X-wings make for an incredibly unique and striking composition. Lucasfilm’s new The Star Wars Show was where they went into more detail about the then-unnamed troopers and vehicles from Rogue One.

So. If this is what we’ve gotten from the European Star Wars Celebration… what kind of radness do you think we can expect from the one coming stateside?
