Last night’s GOP debate started with the current frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination Donald Trump engaging in an argument about the size of his penis that another candidate had started. I mean, we already knew this was pretty much what GOP debates were about, but we thought it was understood that they wouldn’t come out and say it.
But no, this is the world we live in now—the one where that same frontrunner implied that a guy who was criticizing him now would’ve given him sexual favors in return for support just a few years ago (though he’ll probably deny it and call us deviants for suggesting that’s what he meant). Unfortunately, that’s not the world where the X-Men live, and (God help us), we’ll have to save ourselves—a trailer full of voting just wouldn’t look nearly as dramatic.
