Need more Big Hero 6 in your life? A new television series will start where the movie ended with Hiro navigating going to nerd school San Fransokyo Institute of Technology while fighting villains with Baymax, Wasabi, Honey Lemon, Fred, and Go Go.

Kim Possible creators Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley will be working on the adaptation, which sounds like amazing news. The Kim Possible story of a young girl going between normal school situations and crime-fighting is a pretty perfect fit with Hiro’s story. Gary Marsh, president and chief creative officer of DisneyChannels Worldwide says:

Our colleagues at Walt Disney Animation Studios have created a brilliant new world, inspired by Marvel, with vivid, unique characters. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to further develop these characters into a world class animated series — full of fun, action and the kind of endearing storytelling that only Mark, Bob — and Baymax — can deliver.

Disney XD started airing their Guardians of the Galaxy show last year and they recently announced a new LEGO Star Wars series, so this isn’t their first movie to television adaptation. I’m definitely excited to see more of Big Hero 6 *holds out fist bump expectantly*, how about you?
