C. A. Higgins’ Lightless was released this fall and quickly became one of my favorite sci-fi books of all time. Written by a woman with a BA in Physics, the story follows Althea, a computer scientist aboard the most unique ship in the solar system – a ship that finds itself under attack from terrorists. Now, Lightless is coming out in paperback, and we have the exclusive cover reveal.

Lightless is also the first book being read by a new book club over at Blastr’s Fangrrls, so if you’d like to discuss the read with me, Bonnie Burton, Geek Girl Diva, and Cher Martinetti, you have until March to check it out. Not to give too much away, but if you like a story with genius lady physicists, tough-as-nails women antagonists, a healthy dose of space science, and no real love story to speak of (!), then this book is for you.
