You’re not over The Force Awakens yet, are you? Good. But just in case you are, here’s something that might hit you with some feels anyway. Marvel Comics and Disney Animation Studios artist Brian Kesinger mashed our favorite five pack of precious space cinnamon rolls with everyone’s favorite dynamic duo: Calvin and Hobbes.

According to BuzzFeed, the magic moment of inspiration came to Kesinger when he was watching Rey slide to her speeder down the giant sand dune at the beginning of the movie. “It struck me that she probably did that as a child,” he said, “That’s when the Calvin and Hobbes image flashed in my head.” He’s obviously referring to the iconic image of Calvin and Hobbes sledding in the snow, one form of which you can see here in the “final strip” drawn by Bill Watterson.

One wonders whether Kylo Ren actually dreamed of this moment or not. Maybe he ran across a Calvin and Hobbes t-shirt at Hot Topic or something and totally bought into it. He is, after all, talking to Vader’s melted helmet which is like basically having an imaginary friend, right?

And because why not: Adventure Time meets Star Wars.

You should absolutely check out Kesinger’s Instagram account for even more amazing art. It’s all super imaginative and fun. You won’t be disappointed.
