"Loads of fart jokes, loads of burp jokes, what more does a kid want?"

John Boyega will voice a character on the new Nickelodeon UK and Ireland show, Tinkershrimp & Dutch alongside Sam Riley, Darren Evans, and Alex Lowe. Beginning January 15th, the show will feature five episodes at five minutes each, which you can watch on nick.co.uk, nicktoons.co.uk, and Nick Play. Here’s the synopsis:

The series follows Tinkershrimp (Evans) & Dutch (Boyega), a langoustine and slow loris who are best friends and time-travelling bodyguards for the eccentric monarch of New Great Great Britain, King Hunnybun III (Lowe). The team lives and travels around the country in the Royal Double Decker – a castle on wheels. The nemesis of the series is Michael The Fowl (Riley), a fun-hating headless chicken. “Tinkershrimp & Dutch” will also feature Ingrid, the no-nonsense Nordic driver who pilots the Royal Double Decker Castle, and Judge Hamsalad, the roller-skating Law enforcer of New Great Great Britain.

About the show, Boyega says, “Loads of fart jokes, loads of burp jokes, what more does a kid want?” Since it’s a show for UK and Ireland, I’m hoping that we’ll be able to listen to lots of Boyega’s accent. Tinkershrimp & Dutch sounds adorable; are you going to check it out?
