The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies Official Poster Revealed and WHOAH That’s An Angry Dragon

Coming soon to a blank wall near you!

Hobbit fans, get excited! December is only five months away!

In the meantime, Warner Bros. released the first official movie poster for the upcoming trilogy finale. The poster features a terrifyingly awesome Smaug (Benedict Cumberbatch) set to face off against Bard the Bowman (Luke Evans). As you should know by now, this finale will set the stage for The Lord of the Rings trilogy. I’m curious how exactly Peter Jackson will go about wrapping up one of my favorite books, but I am confident he will do an excellent job.

The movie poster was revealed through a tweet from The Hobbit‘s account, which also mentions that you can get a first look at the film at their SDCC panel at 10 am on Saturday in Hall H. Someone be sure to check that out and report back to those of us who can’t make it!

Until then, I’m off to find a way to get my hands on this poster. I’ve got some blank wall space that needs spicing up!
