The above picture may seem like it depicts someone dressing up as a Grey alien for Halloween, but it’s actually a pillow inspired by ostriches. Once the distinction between Grey aliens and ostriches are made, one must then begin to wonder why anyone would want to suffocate themselves inside a pillow, but it turns out people can breathe just fine in there, apparently. Inspired by ostriches sticking their head in the sand, the power nap pillow by Kawamura Ganjavian, simply named “OSTRICH,” is intended for quick naps and has a pocket for a person’s head and — for some reason — hands. The pillow is designed to lessen outside noise in order to provide a peaceful nap, and hilariously, some people feel like that’ll increase the amount of workplace robberies.
