17-year-old believes she is infertile, then her period gets delayed, and the unthinkable happens: ‘Omgg girl same!’

Not everyone likes surprises, and when that surprise can change the entire course of your life, the situation becomes even more complicated. For TikTok user @zzzuulll, the surprise was her getting pregnant after believing for a long time that she was infertile. Because she felt so strongly that she was infertile, @zzzuulll didn’t even initially think she could get pregnant, even after her period was delayed, which was usually always on time.
Does she regret it? No. Does she recommend it? That’s also a no. Does she want to discuss it on social media? Well, yes. In fact, she talked about it on her @zzzuulll TikTok account 2 days ago.
TikTok user @zzzuulll tells the story of how she got pregnant
As mentioned earlier, TikTok user @zzzuulll uploaded a video to her account two days ago where she shared her experiences about getting pregnant. She started by saying she was 17 when she got pregnant and that she had been with her boyfriend for over two years by then. She also revealed that she and her boyfriend often had unprotected sex, but she had always believed she was infertile and couldn’t have a baby.
@zzzuulll then shares that one time her period, which was usually on time, didn’t arrive for a day, and she began to worry. On the second day, she still didn’t get her period, which made her more anxious. By the third day, she experienced severe lower abdomen cramps for the first time, and her breasts became tender. That’s when she started to panic and took a pregnancy test. The test confirmed her suspicions; she was indeed pregnant. To be sure, she ordered another pregnancy test through DoorDash, which showed “pregnant’ on the display, confirming she was expecting. After confirming her pregnancy, @zzzuulll told her mother, who, as she mentioned in her video, responded very well. She then shared the news with her father, who was initially not too excited but eventually supported her. Reflecting on her journey as a mother, @zzzuulll spoke positively about her child and her experience of motherhood, saying she feels she was “meant to be” her daughter’s mother. She also expressed love and excitement about watching her daughter grow. Addressing questions about when she might have her next baby, she simply replied, “I don’t know,” and mentioned she’s focusing on her daughter for now.

Cases of teen pregnancies are on the declines
According to an NPR article published on April 6, 2026, a report from the National Center for Health Statistics released on Thursday found that the birth rate among teenagers declined by 7% in 2025 in the United States. Brady Hamilton, the lead author of the report, called this decline “extraordinary.”
Regarding statistics, approximately 126,000 babies were born to mothers aged 15 to 19, based on the analysis of provisional data presented in the report. If you convert these numbers into rates, there were 11.7 births per 1,000 females in 2025.
The National Center for Health Statistics report also shed light on other birth-related topics in the United States. It highlighted that the overall birth rate decreased by 1% from 2024. Additionally, the report revealed that the rate of preterm births remained unchanged. The cesarean delivery rate rose to 32.5%, up from previous years.
