One of the biggest surprises of the new Star Trek films (recently dubbed the “Kelvin” series of movies since it takes place in an alternate universe than the previous Star Trek incarnations) was the revelation of the Spock/Uhura relationship. Star Trek Beyond is scheduled for a U.S. release on July 22.
