Do You Want to See a Woman In a Pretty Pink Dress and Heels Break Tiles With Her Head? I Thought So.

The woman in question is Japanese actress Rina Takeda, who has a black belt in karate. Those roofing tiles never stood a chance.

Behind the cut you’ll find a making-of video, and while I’d normally scoff at the idea of a credit card commercial, or any commercial, getting one of those, this time it’s understandable. You won’t understand any of what’s being said if you don’t speak Japanese, but skipping to 1:50 will give you two more angles on Takeda’s tile breakage. It’s the universal language.

She has a good stance for her head work, and it’s obvious her leg muscles are more than decorative. Yay.

You might be pleased to know that according to the subtitles, Rina believes that the theme of the commercial is “That’s not me!”

I am in love with this so much. She is awesome. And she did it in heels? My goodness.

    You’ve got it wrong.
“koreha watashi janai desuKA ?” means “Isn’t that me ?”, therefore it means “that’s me.”
    Common enough mistake.
