Great Hera!

Oh my god, Comics Alliance, you just made the best thing ever. Do… do we have a habit of making fun of you for writing way to many posts about comic book porn parodies? Well… yes we do. This… this almost makes up for it.

Hipster Power Girl, refugee from the destroyed universe of Earth-2, where she was their Supergirl-equivalent:

Hipster Zatanna, who casts spells by speaking words backwards:

And Hipster Scarlet Witch, daughter of the villain Magneto, now usually a good guy and former Avenger:

We know better than to count on “artificially” produced memes catching on, but we can hope on be half of this one. For more of Comics Alliance’s hipster superheroines, and templates to make your own (at least of Jean Grey, Scarlet Witch, Power Girl, Fire, Zatanna, and Wonder Woman), see the full post at Comics Alliance.

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
