Watch Frank Welker Imitate Lions Into a Garbage Can For The Lion King [Video]

You know Frank Welker. Or, at least, you know his voice … well, at least you know his characters, because he can do so many things to his voice that he can play so many different characters that have spanned over four decades. From Fred Jones on Scooby-Doo to Nibbler (and Seymour the dog) on Futurama, Welker has provided the voices of so many people and animals that he’s become one of the highest-grossing actors in Hollywood whose face you’ve rarely ever seen. But I’ll bet you had no idea he made the real-sounding lion noises in The Lion King, and you would not be alone. Did you also think they just somehow recorded lions roaring? Well, it was Frank Welker all along. Here is behind-the-scenes footage.

I’m fairly convinced that Frank Welker might be all of the voices.
