Manly is a new short from Cartoon Hangover, created by Jesse and Justin Moynihan, the former of whom is responsible for some of the weirdest stuff in Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time. And that’s saying something with a show so fundamentally weird as Adventure Time, so to be more specific: if it involves crystals, goblin king Xergiok, the trickster Magic Man, or Mars, Moynihan’s likely had a moynihand in it. Manly follows its titular character, the daughter of some kind of space god who would have preferred a son, as she goes on a mission for her dad with a little guy named Nimbus and… you know what, I’m just gonna stop there. Manly is weird (with a bunch of cartoon blood and guts, fair warning) and awesome. You should try it out.
