Watch the Original Beauty and the Beast Cast Record “Be Our Guest” With Unbridled Joy

The Beauty and the Beast live-action reboot looks very pretty and I’m excited to see how new technology will inform the story. That being said, who doesn’t love how iconic the original “Be Our Guest” is? Who amongst does not tear up a little bit thinking about how perfectly the voices of Paige O’Hara, Jerry Orbach, Angela Lansbury, and others inhabited their characters? Even the director of the reboot, Bill Condon, calls the original “so perfect” that he was cautious to get near it!

This footage of the original cast singing their parts for Beauty and the Beast are a big nostalgic trip, and it’s nearly impossible not to smile at how expressive and animated they are in the recording room. Also, how adorable is young Bradley Pierce as Chip?

The clip comes from the special 25th Anniversary Edition of the film, which comes out September 20th on Blu-ray and DVD. If you’re looking to pick up a copy, you should check out our giveaway which ends this Friday!
