“How to Have Cybersex on the Internet” Is the Pinnacle of ’90s Instructional Videos, Human Achievement

Sorry, Guardians of the Galaxy. I like you, but I think I’ve found my favorite thing I’ve seen so far this summer: This snippet of a 1997 instructional video on how to cyber, found at a Minnesota thrift store by the curators of the Found Footage Festival. (Warning: Don’t click that link unless you have time to kill.) I have a hard (grooooooan) time deciding which part of this video I like best: Our guide through the wild lands of cybering suddenly losing her shirt halfway through, or her very precise and polite invite to online sexytimes being met with “yesssssssssss.”

Warning: NSFW, but only if your boss frowns on breasts with censor bars over them, WordArt-style graphics with the word “cybersex” in them, and/or mom jeans. Other than that, it’s quite tame.
