Unfortunate flight experiences are not uncommon. However, for @maisy.bockus, the experience was slightly more jarring than one would expect.
Just two days ago @maisy.bockus, shared a video on her TikTok account narrating the story from the past weekend when the United Airlines flight she was on had to make an emergency landing. She mentions in the video that the United Airlines flight, which was going to New York from Chicago, had to have its passengers get on and off it due to adverse weather conditions in New York. For safety reasons, the flight also announced that it would be adding extra fuel in case it had to make an emergency landing. Then, fifty minutes into the flight, the pilot let everyone know that the plane’s staff was taking precautionary measures due to a “potential emergency.”

Just two days ago, @maisy.bockus uploaded a video to her TikTok speaking about the time she was flying from Chicago to New York via United Airlines flight and had to evacuate the plane due to an emergency situation. As mentioned previously, just fifty minutes into the flight, after an initial delay at Chicago, @maisy.bockus and others who were on the same United Airlines flight she was on were informed that the flight would be making a landing due to a potential emergency situation. No one informed what the emergency situation was, but the pilot insisted that people read the emergency instruction manual at the front of them in the seat packets just in case.
@maisy.bockus says in her video that shortly after it was announced that the flight she was traveling on could potentially make an emergency landing, she noticed that the plane was “rapidly dropping” altitude, which made her think that they could also be potentially making a landing anywhere else besides a runway. However, sometime later after that, she could see a runway, and the plane landed there. Since Maisy and her boyfriend were sitting near the wing, they expected that there would be a slide that would transport them to the runway from the plane, but such a slide was not present. Anyways, Maisy and her boyfriend got down, and they left their luggage behind as per protocol. Maisy’s boyfriend was then helping other passengers get off the plane. Maisy, her boyfriend, and the other passengers of the United Airlines flight were then transported to a firehouse, and on the way, she saw a bomb squad, Department of Homeland Security, and officials from other departments, which convinced her that there was a bomb threat. As she reveals in her video, this whole ordeal ended on a good note for Maisy as she received a 500 dollar flight credit.
