Latoya Peterson’s video series for the Fusion network, “Girl Gamers,” has done a deep dive into the experiences of women who make games and play games. Peterson’s managed to cover a lot of ground in each of her five-minute documentary-style videos; three episodes in the five-part series have been released so far, and we’re looking forward to the rest. In the meantime, The Mary Sue had the opportunity to interview Peterson. In the video above, Peterson details her own experiences with games growing up, and her eventual road towards crafting a video series for Fusion about the varied experiences of female gamers and game creators.
