Trump’s anti-trans slogan from the past is coming to bite him in the back, amidst his growing hypocrisy
Currently, a video has been gaining significant traction online, especially on X (formerly Twitter), highlighting Trump’s hypocrisy. While videos like this are fairly common, especially given how often the United States president displays this side of his character, it is amusing nevertheless.
In a video shared by the page MAGA Cult Slayer on X on January 19, 2026, which, as of this writing, has thousands of likes, shares, and saves and hundreds of comments, Trump can be seen exhibiting extreme bigotry. Posted as a collection of two videos from separate timelines of Trump’s existence, the first part of the clip shows Trump making a transphobic comment during his public address in August 2025, while discussing his plans for the 2028 Olympics, saying, “The United States will not let men steal trophies from women.” Cut to the second half of the video, which, though meant in a different context than the first half suggests, shows a picture of Trump accepting the Nobel Peace Prize from María Corina Machado, who won it last year for “her tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela and for her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy.” While the picture is still displayed in the background, the video then shows Trump answering questions related to the award, and a reporter asking him what he intends to do with “someone else’s Nobel Prize.” He says:
Well, she offered it to me. I thought it was very nice. She said, you know, you have ended eight wars, and nobody deserves this prize more than in history.”
Well, I doubt that Machado said that, or maybe she did, since she has been so desperate to become the president of Venezuela that she is taking every opportunity she can lay her hands on to suck up to Trump in an effort to fulfil her hunger for power. But I definitely do not think she used the “more than in history” bit of the sentence while trying to stroke his ego. That is all Trump, because that is how he and only he speaks. Anyway, people are having a good laugh over this video. In the comments section of this particular post, people have been flooding it with AI-generated images of Trump receiving various kinds of awards. From a Grammy to an “Orange Mussolini Latest Vanity Prize” to a “Wet T-shirt Champion” award, there’s nothing the people haven’t played around with the possibility of.
