‘The chaos suddenly has a motive.’: AOC reveals MTG has been on a ‘revenge tour’ since Trump shot down her Senate plans, and it finally makes sense

Democratic House Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is providing answers to some crucial questions related to Republican House Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene. Currently, a TikTok video of AOC is going viral on social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), where she reveals some of Marjorie Taylor Greene’s secrets, including her recent opposition to her own party and its members.

In the video, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez highlights that Marjorie Taylor Greene wanted to run for Senate in Georgia as a Republican nominee and had approached United States President Donald Trump and the rest of the people in positions of power within the Republican Party with that proposition. However, her wishes were turned down. AOC claims that MTG has recently been so vocal in her criticism of the Trump administration and the Republicans because of this incident. In the video, while acknowledging people’s curiosity surrounding the topic, she says:

Marjorie Taylor Greene wanted to run for Senate in Georgia. She wanted to run for Senate earlier this year in the state of Georgia, she wanted to be the Republican nominee for Senate. So, she was gearing up for that statewide race, and Trump told her no. Trump said no, and the White House and Trump Land shut down Marjorie Taylor Greene’s personal ambitions to run for Senate, and she has been on a revenge tour ever since.”

Several people reacted to AOC’s revelation. While most expressed little to no surprise over MTG’s recent behaviour being personally motivated, others voiced satisfaction over the Republican Party starting to show fractures from within. One person on X (formerly Twitter), while commenting on AOC’s message about MTG, wrote:

So all that noise was not about principle, it was about personal payback. When ambition gets bruised, the chaos suddenly has a motive.”

Another person wrote:

At this point, I don’t really care about her motifs. As long as she tears maga and shake them up, let her do it. She’s dividing maga. Good for her, good for all of us.”

Several others shared similar opinions as they praised Marjorie Taylor Greene for trying to gradually distance herself from the problematic political beliefs of her party.
