‘The AI at taco bell is so scary’: Woman attempts to trick Taco Bell’s AI system, then ends up being outsmarted by it

There are some things you need to experience to learn, and TikTok user @hannahteachesmusic’s journey is similar. On her account on November 8, 2025, Hannah shared a video in which she tries to deceive the AI system at a nearby Taco Bell and find out whether someone on the other side is listening to the conversation. According to her video, there definitely is.
In TikTok user @hannahteachesmusic’s video, she drives up to a Taco Bell and says that she has three mobile orders. After the voice assistant confirms the names under which the orders have been made and the items in them, Hannah follows it up with an out-of-the-blue question, which was possibly one of the reasons she had landed at Taco Bell in the first place. She asked if the person on the other side was real, and the answer she received was hilarious.
There is indeed a person on the other side of Taco Bell’s voice assistant
What TikTok user @hannahteachesmusic did in her video is probably what someone might do after a long night of drinking with friends, looking to have some fun. But here, Hannah was alone and maybe not intoxicated, yet the vibes were fully giving. As mentioned earlier, she basically drove up to a Taco Bell and asked for the three mobile orders she had placed earlier. When asked for the names in order, Hannah said Trina, Hannah, and Brooklyn. While confirming the names, Hannah was also asked by the AI voice assistant whether the items on the small board in front of her matched the orders of the individuals. Hannah confirmed them but then proceeded to ask a personal question, one she might have been curious about for some time.
Hannah asked the Taco Bell AI voice assistant if she (she, because it was a woman’s voice) was real. The voice responded, “Ma’am just pull forward, please,” which made Hannah laugh and possibly triggered a reaction from the person on the other side, who also seemed to be laughing.
