‘That’s a wild take on a tragic event’: JD Vance just confirmed that Trump is a narcissist while narrating a story about Charlie Kirk
On December 14, 2025, Andrew Kolvet, a spokesperson for Turning Point USA, took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to share a video featuring JD Vance. In this clip, Vance, while standing next to his wife, Usha, spoke about his and President Donald Trump’s reactions to the news of Charlie Kirk’s death.
In his deeply emotional (not really) speech, JD Vance recalled how his phone was bombarded with messages from people asking for updates on Charlie Kirk’s condition, and he was completely in the dark about what had happened. He also remembered being informed by his team about the incident and conducting his own research by scouring online sources, which eventually revealed what had happened. Vance continued to detail the events that unfolded, noting that for the first “twenty minutes” of the incident occurring, Vance and other members of the Trump administration were receiving updates from Charlie’s team, and it seemed like everything would be okay. He highlighted that when they arrived at the hospital and saw Charlie still breathing, it gave them hope for his survival. Sadly, he did not make it, and Vance reflected on this as one of the “toughest moments” of his life. He also recalled the moment he had to tell Donald Trump, who, according to him, was left devastated and somewhat speechless. Reflecting on that moment, he said:
“That was one of the few times, the only time I would say, where I’ve seen the president stunned. He just sat back in his chair, and he was like: ‘Man, he fought hard for us, didn’t he?'”
Vance continued to speak, highlighting that one of the things he would like to take into 2026 is the amount of sacrifices people had made for him, Donald Trump, and others like them, simply because they would like to see them continue doing the job that they do. Is he talking about lying, manipulating, and hate-mongering? In that case, yes. I am sure the MAGAs would want that.
