Bill Nye is something of a science rockstar, so it only makes sense that he knows how to rock out. He illustrated this talent just recently during a show being put on by Colorado band Bill Nye and the Science Guys. Nye just happened to be in the area and expressed interest in jamming with the band. The rest? Well, see for yourself.
We've always loved OK Go -- yes, before the treadmill video -- and they have always delivered both musically and visually. Their new video, for the song "Skyscrapers," isn't as visually impressive as one of their Rube Goldberg machines, or driving a car into stuff and having the noise of the collisions compose a song, but it is mellow and very pretty. Watch and chill out, as this couple dances through color.
The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Mortal Kombat is flash dancing, right? Well, that's at least what comes to this group's hive mind, because they dress up as characters from the venerable fighting series, carry around a boombox, and dance dance dance their hearts away across New York City. I couldn't think of a better way to have my day ruined.
Some people can keep up with the times, some people can't. I think it has to do with your genes. This grandma is one of the former, however, so much so that she'll dance to dubstep. Granted, she looks a little bit confused before the drop, but then she gets it and starts grooving. This definitely isn't my favorite dancing-related viral video grandma, but she's a close second. You keep rockin', Grandma.
At a talent show in Denmark, the Robotboys don shiny outfits and show us that the only way one can dance to dubstep, is to do the robot. One might think that both dubstep and the robot are silly, and while that may be true, these guys are actually impressive.
Sometimes, the only thing you can do is dance with swords. I'm sure most of you must know that first hand. You get home from a long day at work and dancing with swords is the only thing that can lift your spirits. The only thing that makes it even better than dancing with family, is dancing for family, something these folks know well. If the guy in the blue looks familiar, he should, because he's a butterfly-knife-dancing-for-Grandma-while-periodically-holding-a-beer master. I don't know what more I can say besides "Don't try this at home, unless you do it to kicky music like these guys do, in which case you should try nothing else while at home."
