Not that you ever would have done otherwise, of course.

Yes, it’s true; the force is with your streaming devices, because all six Star Wars films are about to be available for HD download for the first time. Though there appear to be no customizable options like “remove Jar-Jar from films,” we can tell you that you are fully able to just not download Episode II if you so choose.

As of this Friday, April 10th, you can grab the individual films on iTunes and Google Play for $19.99 each, or as bundles on Google Play ($89.99) and Xbox Video ($99.99, and it comes with an R2 XBL avatar, digital pinball tables for Pinball FX 2, and an exclusive featurette if you pre-order).

They’re also including some new and curated bonus content, like Star Wars: Discoveries from Inside and various creator conversations, though we prefer these:

“These films broke new ground in technology, design, sound, and visual effects, and we’ve created some very special bonus material which delves into the Saga’s rich history,” said Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, “including new and never-before-released conversations between legendary Star Wars artists – the masters who helped George bring his iconic universe to life.”

The digital editions will be the same as the Special Edition edits currently available on Blu-ray – which is kind of a disappointment, because what we’d all really love to see is a beautiful Original Theatrical digital release. Or, as former TMS editor Rebecca Pahle put it,

Here’s what you get with each flick:
