ReWalk is a partial robotic exoskeleton system designed to assist people with lower limb disabilities. In the video above, a man named Radi Kaiof, a former Israeli paratrooper who was disabled during his time in the military, demonstrates the device. Maybe the most exciting thing about this video is that this still feels very much like a work in progress — at the current level of development and with a $150,000 price tag, it’s not exactly mass market — but a few years down the line, ReWalk or something like it could potentially help a lot more people at a much more affordable price.
