RFK Jr. might actually get impeached for ditching science, and the popcorn’s already out

Members of the Trump administration are probably not having a great time. In the last few weeks, they have been involved in a series of controversies. First, it was Kash Patel, then Pete Hegseth, followed by Kristi Noem, and now Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has emerged as a person of interest due to their actions. And Donald Trump? Well, he is always on the list.

On December 10, 2025, U.S. Representative Haley Stevens announced through a video message on her social media that she had introduced articles of impeachment against RFK Jr. to remove him from his position. She also made the same announcement via a press release. In both formats, Stevens highlighted the reasons that led her to take such a significant step, stating that RFK Jr. had “turned his back” on science, public health, and the American people. Further explaining her decision, Stevens pointed out that families under RFK Jr.’s Secretary of Health and Human Services were feeling vulnerable, healthcare costs were rising to unprecedented levels, and “life-saving” research (including cancer, childhood cancer research, research on Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, and studying addiction) was being neglected, while vaccines were being limited, which would affect many individuals suffering from life-altering diseases. The excerpt from Haley Stevens’ press release that details this section reads:

“Under his watch, families are less safe and less healthy, people are paying more for care, lifesaving research has been gutted, and vaccines have been restricted. He has driven up health care costs while tearing down the scientific institutions that keep Michiganders and families across America safe. His actions are reckless, his leadership is harmful, and his tenure has become a direct threat to our nation’s health and security. Congress cannot and will not stand by while one man dismantles decades of medical progress.”

In addition to the complaints mentioned earlier, Haley Stevens also accused RFK Jr. of jeopardising the lives of thousands by spreading conspiracy theories about vaccines and other medical-related topics. Stevens specifically called out RFK Jr. for the incompetence he displayed during the COVID crisis, which affected many individuals, some of whom could have been saved if it weren’t for his lack of seriousness regarding the issue. Speaking of recent events, Stevens criticised RFK Jr. for his conspiracy theories surrounding Tylenol, where he claimed that pregnant women consuming it have a higher chance of giving birth to children with autism. He also alleged that this pain-relief medication could double the autism rate in male infants who were circumcised and given Tylenol afterwards.
