This smooth jazz cover of the Pokémon theme song follows in the grand Postmodern Jukebox tradition of covering songs you never thought would work as jazz. After all, you can only listen to so many rock and roll theme songs before they all start to just blend together, right?

Sara Niemietz does a lot of similar music with much skill, so you should definitely check her work out.

So kick back, let your hair down, get your Pokémon out of their balls, and grab yourself a nice glass of wine next to a roaring fire while this plays. Damn that’s relaxing.
